Lots of psychic networks and sites are advertising 'Free Psychic Chat' - but is it really free and which is the best video and text chat rooms? Many people have been asking me where they can get (Not sure what I'm going on about? Take a look at Psychic Chat - what is it?)
Is Free Psychic Chat actually Free?
Well, yes and no! What sites like Oranum tend to mean by free is that there will be a public chatroom where you can get to know the psychic to check that you have a connection with them. Whilst in the public chatroom, psychics are usually instructed not to answer people's questions, after all they don't get paid for the free chat.
UPDATE! 2018 - I have now found a service by The Love Queen which actually does offer three free psychic chat questions! Read on to see my review.
However I have often seen psychics answer the odd question, or pull a tarot card for you, or even show you your astrology chart, so if you hang around you may find out what you want to know. Sites like Oranum also do free demo readings from time to time so watch out for that (comes up in the left hand side).

1. Oranum Psychic Chat Review
Oranum is a site dedicated to providing chat readings and is my favorite site for this. Here I've definitely seen psychics answer questions in free chat, as well as pull tarot and oracle cards and make astrology charts.

- Great Website - Looks good and technology works well
- Easy to Pay - (I use paypal but they take card, bank transfer, dd or you can pay by phone)

2. The Love Queen Psychic Chat Review
The Love Queen Psychic Chat service is a new and small online psychic text/messenger service that I have just discovered, run by a fellow Californian!
The Love Queen (whose real name is Katy) is a dating coach, matchmaker and also writes about love astrology on her website. Katy and her friends provide instant psychic advice by text and they specialise in love and relationships, though I have asked them about other things too.
What I love about The Love Queen Free online chat
- Three totally free questions when you sign up
- No need to provide card details or pay money to get started
- Convenient - You can use a computer, phone or tablet
- The service is very easy and quick to use
- Great to get psychic love advice from a dating coach!
- If you do want to buy credits later, you can use PayPal for safety
- Credits are great value for money, much cheaper than a video chat with Oranum
- I've received some short but accurate love advice that was helpful for my relationship
- Fantastic love astrology info on the website
Insider tip! The site advertises three free messages but if you confirm your email address you get one extra message! I don't know of any other psychic site that gives you four free messages with nothing to pay!

3. Psychic Access Chat Review
Psychic Access doesn't have the wide range of readers that Oranum has, nor the lovely website and there are no public rooms for free chat. But it does have some great readers and is actually offering 6 minutes free psychic chat (in a private room), with no need to enter credit cards, and for that alone is well worth checking out.

3. Psychics Live
This site offers video chat and is smaller than the other two and has far less readers. Sometimes too much choice is baffling so this is the place to head to if you are feeling like that. But the main reason I have included Psychics Live is that they have a unique feature that I have not seen on any other site - Cam2Cam
What this means is that if you would like your psychic to be able to see and hear you (instead of just seeing your typed replies), you can hook up your webcam and then it's like you are having a face to face consultation with the clairvoyant, without having to leave the comfort of your home. I found this a really exciting experience.
Although they don't have free psychic chat as such, they are currently offering to double your credits, so if you top up with $20 then they will give you an extra $20 for free!
What else do I like about Psychics Live?
Largest searchable skill list - from lost objects and people to Necromancy (less gross than it sounds!)Reasonably priced - from $2 per minuteReaders can be booked - Readers have a clear schedule and you can book a reading
BUT there just aren't enough readers online at any one time, and the site feels a little soulless to me, so I would highly recommend trying one of the other two options
